Established in 1902,

Golden Liquors is Colorado’s second oldest liquor license. Natives to the state, Briana and Nate Austin bought the classic store in 2018. The married couple have long loved agave spirits, and in early-2023 they decided to embrace that passion by totally remodeling their space and transforming the business into Destilados de Agave at Golden Liquors, their passion-driven, highly specialized agave spirits bottle shop in downtown Golden, Colorado.

“We hope our place inspires a new found passion for people just getting into mezcal and provides a source for existing aficionados to learn even more. We hope to expand the public knowledge around the culture and diversity of these incredible drinks and serve as Colorado's very best place for traditional agave spirits.”
